With Corgi's innovative, battery-operated lighting system "Trans-O-Lite", all four corner roof lamps and the main emergency lamp shine with this wonderful Cadillac Superior Ambulance model. The first edition of the model from 1962 had an ingenious but unpredictable switch on the rear axle, which simulated the flashing of emergency lighting when the model was pushed on the floor. A successor version from 1966 left the moody axle switch, but kept the clever "trans-o-lite" system.
